Hi! I’ve noticed an odd recent change, and I don’t know if it’s normal or indicative of something wrong. I have an Easter egger and an olive egger who used to have yellow beaks. They’re 11 months old now. I noticed a few weeks ago that their beaks were no longer yellow. I’ve attached a file of one of them (1) at 6 or 7 months and (2) at 11 months.
Is this normal or could it mean that something’s wrong? Maybe they’re not getting adequate nutrition? I don’t feed a lot of treats—but I did switch food brands a month or two ago (from Purina to Kalmbach). I also switched a few months ago from a start & grow formula to a layer formula. (They took a while to lay, I think because winter came just before they were at the age to start. All are laying consistently now.)
Thanks in advance for any advice!
