This morning I noticed a yellow bubble in the corner of my hen Olive's eye. I'm not sure if this is an infection due to a small scratch or something more serious like eye worm. ivermectin was recommended online for an eye dewormer, however I'm nervous about about taking online advise. I just lost of of my ladies last week to sour crop and I just don't want to go thru more heart ache. Any suggestions of what olive might have would be greatly appreciated!!

How does the other eye look? Chickens have a whitish third eyelid in that part of the eye, but from the picture, that looks like pus. I would try cleaning it out with a Q-Tip just to make sure. If you have some Terramycin ointment from the feedstore, or plain Neosporin/Bacitracin/or other brand, you could use that and apply it twice a day. Pus in the eye usually means a respiratory disease or a peck injury. Eyeworm is quite rare, a tiny worm is actually visible, and it is only common in tropical climates where the Surinam cockroach lives. Ivermectin would not treat it, but Valbazen given both orally and into the eye is the usual treatment. Respiratory diseases such as mycoplasma (MG) and coryza can cause this. Are there any signs of coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, or chest noised when breathing? Here are some links to read about resp. diseases, and read post #3 by Dawg53 in the first link about eyeworm treatment:
