So I bought some eggs 4 weeks ago and they were advertised as black australorps. They all hatched out and I noticed the yellow one is very different to the others. What colour will it be when it is older? Is it a different breed?

So cute!! But I’m pretty sure it’s not a black australorp. I can’t help withe the breed though, I’m sorry.

The yellow chick is definitely not an Australorp. Have you asked the person you bought the eggs from to see what breeds they have? That could narrow down your guessing a little bit.

I guess I’ll just wait and see.
How did the yellow chick turn out? I have it's twin hatched yesterday mother is a black australorp father is a blue australorp it's identical to your yellow chick
