Part of our Rare/Standard pack from Tractor Supply (Hoover's Hatchery), we received two yellow-ish chicks.

Does anyone have any guesses of what the two breeds might be? One of them is more yellow in color, while the other has more of an orange tint. Both are starting to grow some black color in their wings.

They look very similar in photos, but the photos labeled "yellow" are a little more yellow, and the photos labeled "yellow orange" are a bit darker. Both are starting to have some black feathers at the wings

Hmmm, well, here's Hoover's list of possibilities:
(I'll highlight all the ones they CAN'T be)
Hatchery Choice Rare will be any assortment of rare breeds based on availability from any bird that has a "Rare Breed" banner. The assortment will not include bantams. Breeds that could be included in this assortment: Partridge Plymouth Rock,Midnight Majesty Marans, Sapphire Olive Egger, Speckled Sussex, Blue Andalusian, Silver Lakenvelder, Cuckoo Marans, French Black Copper Marans, French Cuckoo Marans, French Wheaten Marans, Welsummer, Barnvelder, Prairie Bluebell Egger, Starlight Green Egger, Olive Egger, Salmon Faverolle, Cochin, Turkens, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, Columbian Wyandotte, Light Brahma, Buff Brahma, Dark Brahma, Lavender Orpington. There is no guarantee which breeds will be included. This is based on availability on the day of hatch.

That being said, I think the likelihood of them being Olive Eggers from Hoover's is low because of the crosses they use compared to the appearance of your chicks. So, eitherr Prairie Bluebell Egger or Starlight Green Egger.

****This is all counting on whether TSC didn't mix the chicks up with other orders.

Cute chicks nonetheless :)

So, eitherr Prairie Bluebell Egger or Starlight Green Egger.

I hope they're one of those! But we actually got the Rare Standard pack, so they say it could be any of these:
RARE BREEDS could include: Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Barnevelder, Blue Andalusian, Buff Brahma, Cochin, Columbian Wyandotte, French Black Copper Marans, French Cuckoo Marans, French Wheaten Marans, Lavender Orpington, Light Brahma, Midnight Majesty Marans, Olive Egger, Polish Buff Laced, Polish Gold Laced, Polish Silver Laced, Polish White Crested Black, Polish White Crested Blue, Prairie Bluebell Egger, Salmon Faverolle, Sapphire Olive Egger, Silver Lakenvelder, Speckled Sussex, Starlight Green Egger, Turken, Welsummer. STANDARD BREEDS could include: Amberlink, Americana, Asian Black, Barred Rock, Calico Princess, Black Sex-Link, Black Australorp, Jersey Giant, Brown Leghorn, Buff Orpington, California White, Cinnamon Queen, Delaware, Dominique, Golden Comet, Golden Lace Wyandotte, ISA Brown, New Hampshire Red, Sapphire Gem, Production Red, Rainbow, Rhode Island Red, Silver Lace Wyandotte, White Leghorn, White Rock.

We're starting to think the lighter chick (photo attached) could be a salmon faverolle!
We think the darker one is likely a "Calico Princess"
