Yellow duck

Actually if you read Storey's guide to ducks it says potatoes, cooked and in moderation, are fine to feed ducks. Whenever I get them on sale I boil them up and feed as treats. Do you have a reference for potatoes being unsafe? I would like to read it in case I should stop.
interesting. I've seen it on lists of treats/what to avoid lists elsewhere, I'll try to dig some up.

What time is dinner? I’ll be right over😀
if your experience is anything like mine and you ask for “duck feed“ you will get a blank stare and maybe a point towards the chicken feed, I use a nutrina all flock, as I couldn’t get masuri or purina. I’m fairly pleased with it and many here felt it to be good, search for duck feed online, then figure out who in your area sells it, it may take some research, my ducks get a big bowl all day, and feeders at night, and half a quart of peas at bedtime.

Even though I live near Seattle, where there are plenty of different busy feed stores, no one carries duck food. But several feed stores offered to order it for me! One even offered to keep a bag on hand. It has been very easy for me to get duck food, even if it isn't on the shelf.

A local store has been keeping the all flock in because I was asking for it, it is convenient, but inconvenient at the same time, I often am there in my work truck and it’s a pain to have to move around 3 bags of duck feed all day, but they are good enough to keep it for me so I buy it from them.

Is this a recipe you came up with, or is this formulated with a clear understanding of waterfowl dietary needs?

Unless you're mixing it into a mash, I highly doubt the ducks are actually eating all the ingredients. Birds tend to pick out their favorite ingredient, and only eat that, this will almost always eventually lead to nutritional issues.

86 chickens? wow that is a lot!

Interested to know how you know the feed killed them and they didn't just get a disease?

What is the protein ratio and mineral content of your recipe?

It is to dietary needs and they get a bunch of other things that help to make sure they get there dietary needs and they do eat it all
