So, I'm tired of seeing yellow feathers on some of my birds. Before it was just my Easter Egger who is yellow with a bit of black under-feathering, turning up with some ugly yellow splotching and coloring... now it's my Barred Rock rooster, who's whiter parts are getting a yellow under-tone. Is it just the sun doing this, or could there be something else causing it? I know it's probably just a vanity problem, but.. well, I'm vane with my chickens. I hate the yellow! My white crested pekin isn't having this problem. They all live and eat the same things, drink the same things, have the same amount of sun exposure, they're all locked into the same coop at night. My duck is pristine white.
