I have gotten a free rooster, from a neighbor. This guy was the third rooster, and heavily picked on by the other two. He came to me missing most of his feathers, which are growing back surprisingly fast. I noticed yesterday, that where the toes come together at the base of the foot, that area of the skin is red, while the rest of the foot and leg are yellow.

Should I do something? Or maybe that is normal? He is a leghorn rooster, my first. It is kind of fun to hear him crow in the morning.

I could possibly be bumblefoot, but usually that's on the bottom of their feet, not in between the toes. I would probably rub some neosporin ointment on a few days and just watch it.
