Yellow/orange liquid coming out of pipped egg?? Please Help!

This usually happens when incubating temperatures were either too hot or too cold and the chick's development was delayed. They have a biological clock and will attempt to hatch whether they are ready to or not. When there is liquid as you described, they generally do not make it. What I do is enlarge the pip and GENTLY pull the head from the egg, then prop it up so that the chick does not aspirate the fluids and drown. Do not try to help him from the egg since the yolk likely has not been absorbed into the body yet and you will have a real mess on your hands if you do. I hope he makes it but it really does not sound good.

When you proper the head does it actually work a bit for them? I have a hatchling right now that had foam and wasn't peeping until I cleared it a bit. I can only assume it is the yolk not fully absorbed and then the temps have been all over the last two days as well.
