Yellow pea powder for niacin?

Hello

We don't have access to soft peas in Turkey, in general. All of our peas are hard even when well cooked.

I have found yellow split pea powder, however. It's just the peas, ground to powder, no additives.

Can I hive this to our duckling to supplement niacin? How would you prepare it?

I would just sprinkle it on top or mix in the feed like you would with brewers or nutritional yeast. Since peas don't have as much niacin as the yeast, I would do 2-3 tablespoons per cup of feed to make sure they are getting enough.
