Hi all, I was cuddling Blueberry today, one of my Pekin bantams and noticed she had a sort of yellow-ish pussy spot on her comb. I will attach a picture, any idea what this is?
Thanks for any replies!!

Hi Welcome to BYC.

Hmm, do your other birds have it?

That’s what I was reading too. Dry fowl pox or a pecking injury that is healing.

Yeah i think it is one of those things but if it gets puffy or bursts I think it will be a problem

That could be it because I have just bought two new silkies a couple of weeks ago and they have been fighting with Blueberry and her sister quite a bit - strange that it looks pussy though?

If they’ve been fighting then it could be a healing injury. How long did you quarantine the birds and how did you integrate them? You can’t just throw birds together that have never seen each other together in one coop & run.

I kept them seperate for 2 weeks and a few days ago I introduced them. It just seems wierd that the spot looks a funny colour and pussy?
