So I got 4 welsh harlequin ducklings a bit ago when they were super little. Three were the typical dark head color with grey beak and on ewas yellow with a darker yellow face and pink beak and legs. It also has dark blue eyes while the rest have brown. I thought it was just a different color variation or something. But it's beginning to molt out its baby fluff and its growing white feathers. It also has a totally more freaked out personality than the others. The others are freaked out when I pick them up, but when I grab the yellow one it SCREEEAMS and shits itself in fear. I havent socially neglected it, I've actually tried to desensitize it more than the rest but it just doesnt care.
I'm suspicious it was a pekin snuck into the welsh group? But its face shape is identical to the welsh's. Perhaps a mix?
Any thoughts?

It can't be a welsh harlequin since you mentioned it had blue eyes. Most likely a white layer or pekin but I'm leaning more over to pekin.

I wouldn't be surprised if the other ducks are ostraizing the outsider, which would cause the screaming and fearful reactions. I'm not a Duck expert, but deer will push away adopted or "different" deer.

So it could be a welsh mix. If it was mixed with something that was pure white that could dominate the natural feather pattern of a Welsh harlequin. Would have to see how the size is as it matures though. If it turns out much bigger than the welshies then it is more than likely a different breed, but if it is the same size it could be a mutation or a mix breed.
