Yes, another goat question...! Feeding time

A man that is local to me that has a dairy goat business told me I should start with "Storey's Guide to Dairy Goats". Says it's very good reading and pretty comprehensive.

Baking soda is like tums for goats. If they eat brush or weeds that are very green and /or it's been raining, they will lick some of the baking soda so they burp. It keeps the PH in the rumen balanced.
