Uh... thats why I said guess....
Knowing that sequential molts occur, and knowing that it is supposed to be a rare breed, I figured someone on here might have insight, and more than just criticism. Thanks for playing tho.

Sorry, I don’t mean to come across as harsh. I totally understand it was just a guess. I cringed when I re-read my post. I sounded pretty grumpy.
I do think he’s a Sapphire Gem though.

Hi Clucker, It's just 6wks old, in that pic. I'm super happy with its disposition, and colorings. It was the "runt of the litter". Almost didn't survive. I nursed it to health, and it kinda likes me now. LOL

I had never even heard of that type of bird, but gosh... it is a spitting image of mine.(or vice versa) Thanks for the info. I think u nailed it.
