3 females(1khaki and 2 runners). Khaki has been laying for almost a year, runners almost 6 months. One of the runners and the khaki decided to take turns sitting on eggs and I kept removing the eggs. Then they decided not to lay for a few days. Then one started laying again. So today there are three eggs. Normally I get 3 white eggs but today there are two white and one light brown thst was very small. Small doesn't matter but all of the sudden a different color? Can that happen? The egg suspiciously reminds me of a chicken egg when they first start laying. The ducks and chickens are seperated. I was thinking maybe one of the younger chickens got in there and laid an egg but I can't find any way they could have. Next thought was msybe a younger chicken laid an egg clise to the fence and the ducks stole it? In this scenario they would have to move it about 15 ft at least. All scenarios are crazy, but I have never read anywhere that eggs can change color. Don't mean it can't hapoen but what are the odds?

I've been noticing the same thing with my runner girls. All 6 have laid white eggs since they've been laying for over a year now. All of a sudden lately, I've been getting a blue egg every now and then. I think I've gotten 3-4 over the last few months. Is that for the same reason as written above?

Not sure if that could cause them to turn blue. :idunno

The eggs from yesterday. The brown one from yesterday is the same as the day before
