You know it is odd (cause I thought for sure you had a buff) but they both are coloring out like Fawn and White Runners! Maybe the chubbier one is a mix of some sort? Very pretty though! Heard any quacking yet?

That's funny, because when I look at them, and it's probably because I get to see them up close and from every angle, I see a buff, just like you said. Even the tail is buff colored, where the runner's is white. I think the head and neck are turning buff colored, and I still swear I see a faint eye stripe like a mallard, only in shades of buff.
The runner is definitely a girl...my goodness, she is loud! And up until a day or two ago I'd have said that the mystery duck was definitely a boy, but recently I've been hearing some weird voice changes. Doesn't really sound like a girl, but sounds too raspy to be a boy? I may just be imagining/hoping, lol. They are just over a month old, so I'm still well within the timeframe I guess.
