yet another dumb newbie question!

ha ha, i'm sure ya'll just LOVE answering one inane, boring, rediculous newbie question after another dontcha?

so this has been driving me only slightly mad . . .
what does the "D" mean in front of things like "H" (the "H" is for hubby or husband yes?"
my best guess is that it means "darn" but that's just my psyche talking isn't it?

It all depends on my mood. It could mean Darling or Dear or Dumb or Dufous. I forgot to add D**M
