yet another question about a odd hatch

most of you know i have been hatching out for awhile now. hatches everyday this week so far. well i had one completely hatch just a few minutes ago and upon looking it over while drying it off i noticed a place on the top of its little noggin that looks like "meat" protruding. i am afraid to touch it as i dont know for sure what it is. can anyone help me figure it out? i have not taken any pics yet as its not dry from hatching. i hope its just a oddity piece of un-necessary meat and not a brain deformity.

If it is a silkie, you could be seeing the vaulted skull.

It looks kinda like a scab? As long as it doesn't appear to be painful or is not bleeding, I would leave it alone. Just watch to make sure that it doesn't get worse. If it does, you may to take other measures.

its not a scab. it looks like a piece of "meat" protruding from its skull. it worries me because i know itll be picked on if i place it in with the others. also i checked on it when i got back home and it seems to be "drying" up. i have never seen anything like this.
