Yet another roofing question....metal roof

If I'm spanning 11 feet for a galvanized corrugated roof (12' panels) Can I get away with 2x4's? Or do I need 2x6's to go that far?

The more I google this the more confusing it gets. Some people use very little support and some look like pure over kill to me. This is for my run, not a coop.

If your point of bearing is 11 feet at that point of contact, 2X4's will be fine. I used 2X6's to span a shorter distance just for the thickness of the insulation, R-19.
