My silkies are 14 weeks old. I'm probably 90% certain I know which ones are girls and boys, but I would love a second opinion and feel like you all are so good at this! If I had to guess, I'd say 1 and 3 are cockerels and 2, 4, and 5 are pullets. I lean toward cockerel for 6 but am not totally sure on that one. (We did trim a bit of #5's crest, but only on the side near her eyes and not on the top or back.) In terms of behavior, #3 seems to exhibit the most rooster behaviors, he is always on alert but is much less shy than many of the others and will be the first to come up to us. He is also the largest of them all and has the largest comb. #4 is the smallest by quite a bit, and she's also the fastest and most skittish.

Side note: taking these pictures made me realize how much fluff is in the way of their eyes and I don't know how they aren't constantly running into things lol. It's not wonder #3 is always on lookout duty, I think he's the only one who can see!!

You need close-up pics of their combs, but #3 has what look to be streamers starting on the back of his head. I think he's a cockerel. For the others, we need those close-up shots.

Ok I added those!

PS: you had better luck then me I had 8 silkies and only 2 were girls :(

We’re only keeping a couple of ours but I was definitely hoping for more girls! Luckily we have friends who also have chickens who don’t mind taking the roos off our hands. I’m gonna enjoy raising them till I start hearing little cock-a-doodle-doo’s though!
