Right now I have eight Ancona eggs and six Indian Runner/Blue Swedish eggs in the incubator.
The Anconas are due around April 7th and I just set the other ones.
I've been thinking of buying some hatching egg's for call duck's. In your opinion are they hard to hatch everyone tells me they are so I'm not sure if I want to get into it. I have chicken's and my son has a pet mallard we hatched and a while back I saw a post on here with a chocolate call duck and I fell in love with it so I was waiting for the weather to get a little nicer and I thought I would try to hatch some. Any advice would be helpful.

I'll let you know in a few more days when my hatch is over. I have read that quite a few of them don't make it through lock down. I got mine form a seller on ebay who has great feedback, not sure if he posts here, and the fertility was 100% out of 18 eggs. I did lose 3 early but the rest are still moving on day 22.
So, when should I lock these guys down? Day 26 starts Saturday morning so I was thinking on Thursday morning but I took a peek tonight and while they are still moving, the eggs aren't full yet so maybe they will take the 28 days? My temps have been fine all along. Can you tell I'm getting excited and impatient? LOL How is everyone else doing?
