Well it is now day 22, have had 6/10 hatch, last one is a little white silkie! I am gonna let the other eggs go till day 24 then i will discard.....so far no pips at all so i doubt if any will make it, but i am thrilled with the ones that did!!

Congrats on your hatch! Those babies are so cute.

I've gotten into the habit of candling my unhatched eggs before discarding them, to make sure nobody is still moving around. Keep those pics coming!

Ok, I am so happy right now i could almost burst, my first successful hatch, and i got 50%!! Yea! And way to go Red Roof Hens for your packaging and fertility rates.....had 10/12 make it to lockdown! The last 2 are still drying and gaining strength in the bator but the other 4 are in the brooder and doing well. These are 4 frizzle(?) cochins, 1 B/B/S cochin(looks blue to me), and 1 little white silkie!
