Ok Well my new roo decided to run away for a day. He went into the neighbors bean field and across the road into that bean field. I was going crazy trying to figure out where he was and how to catch himm without going into the field and damaging the beans as I walked through. Anyway I went to my neighbor (100 yrds away) and asked that if they saw him could they let me know. The wife was like sure and I thought we heard one but we werent sure. I asked if his crowing was bothering them and her response was pretty much no. She said her cows make more noise than he does. ( they do to. lol ) Anyway Pauley came back yesterday!!! He is outside with the chicks right now and he is sticking around. Yippie my new roo decided he likes his new home and my neighbors don't mind his crowing!!! Lifes good

Beans are not the food of choice for chickens.. in fact they are toxic... your neighbor is lucky... he is there for the bugs.
