I liked George Carlin. Said some funny stuff!

Those people going slow in front of you really are idiots these days - because they are text messaging!

Every time I have had someone in front of me going really slowly, it is because they are busy text messaging.

The one that really blew my mind was the driving instructor (he was alone in the car which was clearly marked as a driving school car) who was texting whilst driving. At least I know which driving school NOT to recommend.

Ive seen people reading a book while driving.

I was behind a woman on the I-5 whilst on my way to Seattle a few years ago who was practising her drumming with drumsticks in both hands and using all available surfaces whilst we were travelling at about 60 mp/h.

Needless to say, I switched lanes, and broke the speed limit until I felt I was far enough away to avoid any involvement with the accident I was sure she would cause.

We were coming through St. Louis a couple of weeks ago, pulled up along side a pretty lady that was talking on her cell and eating a burger and driving all at the same time.

I hate it when somebody calls you and wants you to write some information down. You gotta steer with your knees and the car is going all over the place. It's really dangerous. I wish people would just wait till I'm not driving to call.

Here in Seattle they have now made it illegal to talk on the cell phone and drive, but it does not seem to have much of an effect --- I still see people doing it all the time and am guilty of it some myself.

Probably doesn't help to get the word out that a sheriff's deputy in a nearby town ran into a parked car in his cruiser because he was TEXTING while driving.

Dooh!
