YO GEORGIANS! :)

Depending on what your budget is, the Brinsea mini holds 7 large fowl eggs. Its a bit pricey for me though. Or you can go to TSC and get a LG styrobator for $40. And just to warn you, hatching is addictive. Check out the BST as well as the 24hr auction thread and the BIN/Auction thread. I'll see if I can post links for you

Hatching is addictive. We have hatched 5 times in the last 3 years as homeschooling projects only ever keeping the chicks/ducklings for a few weeks before bringing them back to the farm we got them from when we lived in MD. Now in GA I was lucky to find a landlord and huge yard to actually keep chickens. We skipped hatching though and just got chicks and now I am regretting that as we all loved hatching!

OMG!! That is a huge cat. I've never seen a cat the size of Lassie before!

Yeah he's a big boy. His name is Pumpkin and he is about the size of one! He, his slightly smaller brother, and my child, the Sheltie, are why we are building the chicken coop equivalent of Fort Knox! Lots of hardware cloth and reinforcements!

Welcome!

@Book ooh I'm so excited! Someone out my way

Don't forget to add yourselves to the map! (Link in my siggy)!

I hadn't seen that before so cool! Let me know if you ever want company as my 4 kids would love to see another back yard chicken set up!

Definitely! We recently bought this house and are in the process of building the coop. :) I hope to get goats and a donkey too. How old are your kiddos? My oldest is 13. I have a son who will be 5 next week and the baby turned 2 today.
