Three thermometers in my bator right now:

Mercury reads 96, AC "vent" thermometer (as I call it) says 84 (calibrated it last hatch), and new digital thermometer/hygro says 91 with 40% humidity.

Had the same problem. Three therms and three differents temps. How frustrating trying to figure out which one to believe.

Hi ChristyinGA did you happen to get my pm? I'm looking for some people my area that would like to sell some young pullets or chicks. I'm soon going to set up a small breeding program to try and give people around my imediate area a better variety of pretty but reliable layers. And also if there are any other folks out there that might be in the Gainsville or Athens area.

I have some black copper marans and some cuckoo marans that are 2 weeks old, but that's it. Probably 8-10.

Hi! I'm another Georgian who has made one or two posts here, but mostly lurking. Just wanted to put out here that I am so excited about my expectant hatch of my chicks! They are my own ameraucana eggs, went into lockdown today. Already have one piping and rocking..very excited!

I have not caught up with the thread yet but I hope you have some adorable little ones that are all healthy! I love/panic on lock down days!
