YO GEORGIANS! :)

My in laws sent my two youngest kids their birthday present.

It was a blast putting got together! :eye roll:

I put the chicks in my little makeshift run today. The really love it out there. They will be 4 weeks on Sunday. When can they go out permanently? The coop is in no way ready for them (No walls yet) so I am thinking about building a grow out pen for them.

If they are four weeks old, then they can go whenever the coop is ready.

Did any of us NOT make a trip to TSC for feed today? Lol!

I didn't go to TSC today, but I needed to. Now I have to go in the rain tomorrow or Saturday (which will stretch the feed for adult birds to just crumbs -yikes) :(

Okay, second screen arbor/chicken pen is set to arrive the middle of next week. I'm thinking about putting the frizzles in there, so it will also house the bantam cochins that will come in the week after. But I won't put the cochins in until they are older.

And... it looks like I'm sleeping with two chicks tonight (lets the rumors begin). Two silkies not doing well, will be partially wrapped in my electric blanket to stay warm so I can keep a close eye on them. I really want them close to each other in hopes of one stimulating the other's breathing and circulation. This way, they'll stay mostly bundled up together.
