Ruckers in Cumming is getting SS in on April 15th. They are also getting in EE, Black Australorps, White Leghorns, RIR, and Barred Rocks. They got White Pekin ducks on the 10th and will be getting more ducks on the 17th.

Ruckers is a feed store. There isn't a certain amount you have to get and the chicks are very healthy. You could get just one if you wanted, but no one ever really gets one chick

I went into TSC the other day and a lady working there argued with me over whether the breed was "pullet". I'm like yes they may be pullets but they are RIRs. It even said RIR on the box! Shows how much they don't know

No, not a hatchery, but a horse and pet store. They order 50 - 100 of each variety from a hatchery. Just know that the ones they call Araucanas are really Easter Eggers, but I love EE! And, you can get 1 if you want, but chicks do best with 'family'. That's why when I got my SS from them, I had to get an EE to go with her! My DH wasn't upset about the SS cuz he knows how much I have been wanting another one, but he didn't understand why I had to get two chicks. I explained it to him. Here are my new babies with my newl hatched duck out for the first time!
 
Now eight new babies in the incubator that need a clean brooder.

My "weekend" has started. Hell week is officially over. But right now, everybody has food and water, so I shall catch up on sleep! If I get lucky, I'll sleep through the night and wake up just in time for these eggs to be picked up tomorrow.

Abmaddox, and Mrsdszoo, I ended up with 18 extra, so I took all of my silkie eggs back out, and will hatch those and roughly a dozen of my own EEs in my own incubators. I do know which ones to tell her we want back, though. They are all marked.
