(I'm on MY phone, btw)

Yeah but you memorize the codes so you can type them. There is probably medication for people like you.

Ive been known to open my incubator to extract dry chicks. And ive also found chicks that are helped from there shell have a 90-100% death rate.
My personal experience is quite a bit different/ I have about 85% survival rate with assisted chicks. The general rule is not to help them and the learning curve does tend to have a high mortality.

Hey everbody; Long time no chat! I took a longish hiatus fom the forums because life got all sorts of busy and complicated, but I missed y'all :-). I bet there are plenty of new folks, so "HI" to them, and what's new with everybody? I see Robo is experiencing the joy that comes with not having to haul water for chickens* all over creation -yay!

*Although not as difficult as hauling water for elephants, as you know if you've seen the movie
I've been wondering where you've been hiding. Miss ya, girlie.

Sure wish there was medication for you.

As usual, I have a few extra Brahma cockerels lying around for anyone interested... You know you want roosters, people.. C'mon..

Not sure what is going on with our phone service. Works at the barn, but not the house. I have 15 (out of 17) new babies today. One is in isolation. Not looking good. Will send photos later when they are all dried out.

I also have some cockerels for sale. A Black Orpington, a spash Orpington, a blue based Brahma, a Crested Cream Legbar, and a Rhodebar. Probably have some newly hatched Olive Eggers for sale, too. Gotta figure out the males and the females.

I REALLY want a chamois polish frizzle but I can find a breeder in the US. I find a lot for sale in the UK just not for US yet. Does anyone know someone who sales/breeds these?

I preferably want a hen or pullet that looks like this! Aren't they adorable!

I have seen lots of frizzled polish hatching eggs for sale on ebay. You may also want to check the listings on the BYC 'buy-sell-trade' section (under forums) Also look in the frizzled polish thread. They are great. I had someone give me a frizzled polish when I first started chickens. Unfortunately. it was a male and I rehomed him!
