Mine is pretty simple too. Just renovated an old blue shed we bought from someone. Added a covered run.

Gee, I don't think your coop is "simple" it is quite stylish. You have a a very nice coop and run!

I would be more worried about a hanging injury with the suspending chains.

Thank you very much. a lot of work but worth it. We are installing nesting boxes at the moment (our guys are only 10 weeks old) and last night I built them a covered sand box. our run is covered with fresh mulch so I added some fun sand. We get bored around here sometimes and just build stuff. Lol the coop was a great find. We bought it off of craigslist from someone in Canton. It looked like this....and then we added a few things to it....mainly more ventilation, roosts, and poop boards over their roosts.
