YO GEORGIANS! :)

Well we have a small flock of 3 hens. It was four but we lost one just a week ago. We now currently have one Rhode Island Red, one Brahma, and one Ameracuana. We have had chickens for about 2 years now. However, I grew up with chickens and lots of them. So I am not a beginner of sorts.

Our hens are our pets and we see the eggs as an added bonus. When one passes we have a funeral and everything. I have 2 girls who love them. Do it can be sad esp for them when we do lose one. I am glad to be on here and part of this massive community. Its fun and such a good resource.

We are in Savannah!!!!! We are looking into adding some hens to our flock of 3 and were trying to find frizzles of any kind, a polish, silver laced wyandotte and black maran. If anyone knows where we might be able to find some of theses breeds close to our location please let us know. Thanks for everything!!!!
I may have some frizzled EEs soon. They will be large fowl and would lay colored eggs. My hatch is due Tues and won't know if they are frizzled for a few days after that. Will be taking my chicks to the big chicken event on Feb 14 at the Tractor Supply in McDonough.
