YO GEORGIANS! :)

Very feathery.... lots of birds running around now. The only Rhodebar we have left from your stock is a rooster. And I recently had to kick him out of the pen and send him to free range with the other bachelors. He was trying quite aggressively to make babies with a turkey. It got to the point he was hanging onto the back of her head and ripping out feathers. I tried to tell him it wouldn't work but he wouldn't listen.

I hate that your turkey was sexually assaulted by a Rhodebar, hope she's okay. What happened to the hens? I have lots of hens and will be hatching more Rhodebars later this spring if you want some more girls.
It was a combination of eggs that quit, chicks that died, predators picking them off. I can't remember how many of each we hatched but after it was all said and done 1 Rhodebar and 2 Cream Legbars survived..... all roosters.

Hi, Rocky! Pretty roosters! Can't have any here, but they're still lovely.

Would anyone wanna try their luck at guessing a mystery chick? I got her at TSC and the folks over on the breed forum have made a few suggestions, but can't seem to agree.

This is a few of the hens that I hatched last spring.

Nice girls! I still have two of your Rhodebars and one OE rooster. I sold the others. I need to sell the rooster....he is one of your olive eggers. Hulk Hogan.....nice guy, but too over zealous with the girls.

What a beautiful day. I'm standing here burning stuff in the burn barrel. We finished rat-proofing the shop.. The woodwork part of the job anyway. Now I'm standing here watching my chicks, chickens, some red-winged blackbirds, some of the bluest bluebirds I've ever seen!! And, a beautiful pair of hawks. :/ They're keeping their distance but I can see and hear them.

Oh. And the fire. I'm watching the fire too of course.
