YO GEORGIANS! :)

I don't think there was a picture, but yeah, I've found that most "FREE" ads are just a scam to get your email address. Although, now with the way CL does email, it goes through their servers and doesn't show your address, I THINK........

I should have realized that before I posted it, but hey it was 4 AM and I was up for about the 3rd time last night, LOL

yeah I don't go to meet or have anyone come to me for a craigslist ad unless I have one of my hand guns clearly visible on my side. (yes I have a GA Weapons License) And I never have the cash ON me, I always leave it locked in the truck.

I also don't give out my phone number on my ads or answer an ad that demands a phone number, too many unwanted spam texts in the middle of the night broke me from that.....

Update on the chick- I was able to get a splint/wrap that kept the leg straight-ish, but it looks like a slipped tendon. It was a full 48hrs after it happened before, thanks to some research, I finally figured out what was going on, so it's pretty swollen. I tried to get the tendon back into place, but no luck. Hopefully the wrap will take some of the strain off her hock and the swelling will go down, but any tips on properly/easily rolling the tendon back into place would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the towel trick, @GAMarans! It worked like a charm! I was able to get her to lie quietly on her back or side for several minutes at a time while I worked on her leg.

good that you got it wrapped, no idea on getting the tendon back in place. Hopefully someone with some experience will chime in. Have you posted over in the emergencies forum? May have more of a chance someone seeing and helping where they actually look for this kind of stuff.....

and let us know how this comes out!

I did, and I got a response! I'll be giving it another go tonight when I get home from work if her leg looks less swollen. Hopefully it will be workable! One of the sites also suggested using VERY diluted baby asprin for the pain/swelling, so I may try that too.
