YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yay for the hatching!!!! This is not something I have had interest in doing but I love watching everyone else's!

I moved my kids in their new home and I believe they are happy! Lotta of noise. They haven't figured out the roost yet and my dog is super interested but I have him baby gated off. These guys are growing up so fast!!! I probably don't handle them as much as I should, I want my niece to be able to hold them and I am not sure how to do that. Anyhow here is the new home!

Ok, peeps, be on the lookout for guinea hatching eggs for me. We need some and I can't find any near me. There are some for a good price on BST thread but they're in Colorado. Surely there are some here in Georgia.
I gave up looking for Guinea eggs, I started to wonder if they give birth to live chicks. Seriously though, if you find some let me know.

What humidity and temp do you like for lock downs? My temp has been between 55 and 65.My humidity has been anywhere from 58 to 70 on my digital temp gauge I placed inside on the screen bottom (hova-bator) with the built in temp gauge saying anywhere from 48 to 65. I've had to help 2 chicks out that were shrink wrapped. I don't know why the humidity is swinging that wide unless it's because of the rainy condition we've had all day. I still have about 15 eggs to hatch. I'm only on day 18. I know that bantams will hatch earlier but not sure why the others started so early. So far I have 2 Gamefowl, 2 d'uccle and 1 Australorp.
Temp of 55-65? I'm guessing that's a typo.

"...My humidity has been anywhere from 58 to 70..." wow, that is really high for chicken eggs.

Now there is another possibility on the humidity thing ... what type of measurement are you getting? There are two different ways of measuring the humidity.

As for lock-down ... I don't do lock down. I have too many different things going on of too many different set and hatch dates to do lock-down.
