YO GEORGIANS! :)

I called the number at the top of the App for poultry sales form. The lady said that a NAIS ID is not necessary for this form but I might as well get one because I will need it. Soooo does anyone know why I might need it? New to the selling of any chicks so obviously I'm new to these regulations. I'm sure it has something to do with tracking poultry for illness etc but unsure.

On the chick front my 21day baby is now reunited with 22 day baby…so now I have cheep cheeping in stereo…jeeeze I thought they would quiet down a little bit once together. I have never had chicks just go non stop it seems with out any sleep or breath lol. DH wants to know where the every ready batteries are so he can take them out for a while. 23 day baby (yes I know it is a risk I & I normally don't do it) had to be helped out of the shell this morning. It zipped an inch and no more since noon yesterday so before noon I took part of the shell off and put it back to finish or not on it's own. It did and needed a good bath afterwards then back in with it's fat little yolk belly until tomorrow.

Try having some that sound exactly like your dog whining. Our poor dog gets yelled at and can't figure out why. And to date I have not been able to train the chicks to hush when I yell mean nasty things at them as I am trying to go to sleep.

Quote We could treat ya'll to dinner tomorrow since we owe ya'll one. Getting eggs to you is no problem since we are practically neighbors. I just didn't know if you would have room for them. I can also bring you some Frizzle NN mix eggs if you want them. I may even have some NN x silkie eggs. I had the one NN chick and I also had a Maran that turned out to be frizzled. So there's no telling what you'll get from the mixed eggs.

Yeah DH tried that and they won't listen to him either. Of course I said shame on you they are only one day old with no Mama to snuggle up underneath for security. If he keeps up I just remind him about all the whining he does when he does not feel good lol.

Both. Talked (in person) to a man who promised to track down what I needed and call me that day. Waited a week with no phone call. Called back and spoke to a woman. She said she would have him call me. That was 5 or 6 months ago. Never heard from them again. So I went to McElroy Metals.
Well that is surprising, and somewhat embarrassing. I mean give a friend a plug and he'd already made you feel he didn't want your business.

I will say I've known them since before they even opened the metal dealership. I have no idea what could have happened, but I'm of the 'a man's only as good as his word' generation, and tell me you're going to call me back and then don't, well yeah, I gotcha.

Oh well, there is another place right across the road from the, I think it's D & B metals or something like that. Still be closer than going to peachtree city, LOL

I'll check them next time I need roofing. I got McElroy's name from a friend of my dad. He does roofing but told me to go to them directly and save his mark up. I got 6 pieces of 14'3" and 5 10' pieces of 26 gauge u panel galvanized roofing for under $300. That stuff is heavy, too. Those pieces together weigh almost 400 pounds.

This is totally not chicken related but does anyone have a formal dress appropriate for end of middle school dance that they're willing to sell for cheap? This sounds bad considering how much folks nowadays spend on them but my father got off easy paying $12 for my dress years ago. We've decided not to spend $50+ on this dance when high school prom is the biggie. I'll pay for shipping if anyone has something nice stowed away. Ebay has some good deals straight from China and Hong Kong but they may not arrive in time.
