YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hi guys! Okay so, I have a chick that is due anytime now. I thought that it should already be hatched by now but apparently not. It's definitely still alive. I just have one question: can you tell if a chick is still alive if the egg is warm? Before the rest of my eggs died due to heat fluctuations and I was candling them I noticed the cooler ones were dead. What do you think?

@katsdar Here are the guineas! There is a blue one and a white one. I hope they all make it. New to guineas.

Speaking of-do they need any introduction to the food and water or can they figure it out on their own?

If they are all in the same incubator and there aren't any hot/cold spots the temp differences should be minimal. There would be some because the movement of the chick attempting to hatch can cause a slight increase in the temp.

I'd go with candling vs. feeling it.

can someone tell me a little about tractors? My DH's Lieutenant is selling an old Power King 2414. With a mower, a couple of other things and a trailer. DH is going to look at it on Sunday with my brother who is a welder(he mostly builds motorcycles & used to work building fire trucks). Something about the mower might need some kind of modification or other. Brother is going to see if it is something that he can do or not. I am assuming the tractor is almost as old as me? 1970s model, maybe?
