Well that's what I'm hoping and it's my gut feeling. I guess I just want to hear others agree with that sentiment.. Or see if anyone doesn't.![]()
Thanks.I always say go with your gut. It never lies.
good grief he looks huge! If Robo was holding him though, he probably wouldn't look so bigCarcar, so sorry about your hen. I know it happens more often than we think. I had one go into the nest to lay an egg and I found her dead there an hour later. My friend said her rooster was fine, went to bed on his roost with his hens and they found him dead still sitting there the next day. I also had one a while back that was running around like normal and 30 minutes later saw her laying dead at the fence. So weird. Who knows?
On a brighter note, got a picture of me with my big boy, Beau. (Brahma)

Thanks so much for the stories, they make me feel better. I never knew chickens could just drop dead! (Commonly, anyway). Anyway, love your big boy. Don't ya just love the big mushy brahmas? Did you see the pic of your girl I posted a page or two back? She look ok for you?Carcar, so sorry about your hen. I know it happens more often than we think.
