Hahahahaha yeah i agree it is that poor babies it was heart breaking hearing complaints when sitting on the wet warm cloth but it had to be done and if you don't have the problem i had of them pecking you can touch a little tiny bit of baby oil on there little vent and down that surrounds it this will make it slide off instead of sticking to there little rear. Thanks for the help I washed their little tushes put them back under the heat lamp this morning ,when I came home after work they all looked good and active no more pasty butts , by the way that's more like cement then paste .

Hi Georgians,
We are raising egg layers and just rescued 3 broilers. I really don't have the right space for broilers. They are 4 weeks old and we are in the Atlanta area. Anyone able to provide a home?
I. Am. Over. Monday.
That is all.
did you lose your little "L" shaped ruler thingy???? JUST KIDDING it looks GREAT. I love the roof is going to overhang that much! It is looking so good ma'am, you will look back when finished and be very proud.Someone wanted pics yesterday, so here they are. I'm a little overly critical so y'all know I'm tempted to point out every mistake, but I will try to refrain. I expect to be done this week, provided that the weather cooperates. Siding is done, trim is done, roof rafter brackets are in place. Doors need to be cut & installed and I began cutting the inside walls today. They'll go up quick. then I can put in the roosts & paint everything. We used recycled pallet wood where we could(mostly just the trim). The window trim is just waiting for a flower box to be added. That was a last minute extra decision, but we have about 16 pallets so plenty of free wood for that! Why not, right?
Also, a big hello to the newbies n the group!
And, please promise not to laugh.![]()
