YO GEORGIANS! :)

My back yard. No, satilla river has some nice big ones. Call DNR and see if they ISSUE any permits on that river. Might can call Capt. Stans in woodbine, he takes people out hunting. Capt. Stans is a BBQ place in woodbine but closed on Monday.

I would have to see what zone you're in. I think I have 4 rejection points which nearly guarantees me a permit this year.

Oh, they're both 11 weeks old. Since I have two, I can send you pictures. Whichever one you want is fine with me. If you have any pullets around that age, I'd be willing to trade! If not, no worries.

ok for those who wanted the recipe, here ya go!

DO Lasagna

1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
23 oz spaghetti sauce ( I actually use about a jar and a half instead of just one 23 oz jar)
9 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
3 eggs
2 1/4 C cottage or ricotta cheese
1/4 C grated Parmesan cheese
13 lasagna noodles
1 1/2 tsp oregano
3/4 C hot water

You do not have to pre-cook the noodles. If you do, leave out the ¾ cup hot water

Preheat DO. Brown the ground beef. When done, remove the beef to a large mixing bowl. Add spaghetti sauce to beef and mix well. In another bowl, add the cottage or ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese (reserve some for topping), eggs and oregano and mix well.

Layer in DO as follows:
Approx. ¼ inch of spaghetti sauce in bottom of dutch oven
cover bottom with noodles break if necessary
1/3 meat mixture
1/2 cheese mixture
**************
cover with noodles break if necessary
1/2 remaining meat mixture
remaining cheese mixture
**************
cover with noodles break if necessary
remaining meat mixture
remaining mozzarella sprinkled
on top
Pour hot water around the edges of the DO. Cover and bake for one hour. Check frequently.

Hint: you can add more charcoal on top during the last 10 minutes to brown the top layer of mozzarella.
