I know that Economy Feed and Seed is having one in the beginning of June and its an actual swap meet. They bring chickens, goats, bunnies, guineas you name it!

can you post the info?

I was thinking somewhere we could bring covered dishes as well? What do y'all think?

that would be nice, I hope your not going to be too far, I'm north GA, but if your too far I'll catch the next one.

Anyone seen Rocky and Sable? they sure have been quiet.



@ShadesofSable the silkies I got from you one is a girl and a boy!!!! How do I know, the adolescent boys are taking an interest in her. they do like water too, it rained and they just took a bath now they are all clean and white, and Acorn is still sweet, did you hold your birds a lot for them to be so loving?

I'm not adding to my flock at the moment, but I appreciate it

Gotta get the coop expanded, the quarantine coop ready for Flower's chicks that will be going outside soon, and I really want to tackle meat birds soon, too

Maybe they'll show up. Have you checked the trees? I know that sounds stupid, but I've had a pullet or two try to roost in trees on occasion.

I had a hen disappear once, even found lots of her feathers. Next morning she was waiting outside the coop, hurt but survived. Good luck!

I'm here! I've just been alternately lurking and staring intently at my incubator! (Less Than a week to go and all four are still kicking!!)
Awesome about the silkies! I'm starting to think.my third white is a hen, too so I may keep her! The blacks too! Some of the buffs are a little bit suspect though...
I did try to hold them each at least once a day so they'd get used to it, and I feed them all treats out of my hand on a regular basis. I'm so glad they're doing good.
