Anyone ever seen this color pattern before?
 
Soo.. If you guys ordered a dozen eggs and six were clear.. Would you tell the seller? Not sure I expect anything done about it, but.. If nothing else, if I were the seller I'd want to know.

At least I think so anyway..
 
Absolutely I would let them know. Even if they can't/won't do anything about it they need to know that there may be a fertility problem.
 
Yeah as soon as I realized it was ten and not a dozen I sent this:

"Hi there, just wanted to let you know that 6 of the (10) eggs I received are clears. While I understand you have no way to tell what's fertile/not when shipping, I thought I would let you know as I would want to know as a seller. Thanks for shipping them though and for such great packing."

And received this:



"Hello, thanks for letting me know. I do appreciate the update. I sure hope the 4 make it and are the best SQ birds:)"

Yeah. That reply chapped me a bit. I mean, I would at LEAST offer to send more if buyer paid shipping. I can totally understand not
wanting to pay shipping. :(
 
Though this would give a clue to the quote of a "hatch rate" and no mention of "fertility rate". I hate to think that way but I'm just becoming bitter at this point. :lau
 
Sadly, not everyone is as honest, good, and decent as we might like them to be.
