YO GEORGIANS! :)

I had this issue and ended up finding mine on Craigslist. I know that Craigslist can be iffy about poultry (or anything actually) but this guy was pretty reputable and place was very clean and nice. My chicks bonded fast. It was super cute to see and now they are inseparable.

I found a good breeder on Craigslist. All of her stock is from GFF. She has Bieledfelders right now.

Does anyone know where I can find day to 1 week old chicks in Southeast Ga? I live in Brunswick but would be willing to drive. I had only one chick hatch and hate having it by itself until it get big to mingle.
I forgot about someone that I just started corresponding with. She is in McAlpin. Quite a ways but she has 4 Bielefelders (autosexing breed) pullets right now..... just hatched. All of her stock is from GFF.

A guy named Chris Krost has them outside of Vidalia/Riedsvile area with a bunch of different birds. He is on Facebook

Thanks, Katsdar. I will save this post for future reference.

I hope I have not confused you.

Pretty darn red!   Don't think it will be much longer.   Do CCL not have wattles?  I have a couple of pullets (not legbars), that have been red in the face, but fairly  little wattles.  Been seeing them get on and off the nest , and finally got an egg from one of them today.  Yippee!  Good luck with your CCL

So I went and spent some time with the girls today and really looked, as best they would let me (they aren't lap birds), and I couldn't see anything that looked like a waddle or even the beginnings of a waddle. Like I said I am a rookie and could be over looking beginning signs. So to answer your question about CCL and waddles, I don't think they do.
