My bad. I thought you said he was an EE and wondered why he didn't have a beard. I have EE's with and without beards. But yeah if that is supposed to be an Ameraucana then I would think it should have a beard.

Anyone close to Atlanta have some hatching eggs I can buy? Breed doesn't matter, I'm using them to test a broody and see if she can hatch or not and plan on selling or giving the chicks away. I'd only need say, 4 standard or 6bantam? I don't know if a little silky can sit on many more than that
(I don't mind driving a little ways for them, just not like 4 hours.)
He is very handsome. Is his color called splash? He has some fuzz but it isn't full like it should be. He is perfect other than that. I have had both EE and Ameraucanas and never had any that didn't have muff's or beards. I didn't see him when he was young but was told he had muff and beard like the rest. It wasn't until he was older than he lost most of it. They thought the other chicks pulled it out but now thinking he just lost it.

When i asked yall about the apple cider vinegar, i put it in their water and ever since every egg comes out clean just as if it had been washed. I would of never believed it, but its it helps there vent to pass an egg, so i guess they aren't pushing it as hard/ either way iv gotten 1 and 1/2 dozen and all were super clean. i swear by it now.
I never wash my eating eggs. Am I nasty?
