I'm in Dallas Ga!! I'm so happy to have found this valuable forum!!
I'm looking for a place near me where I can get an Easter egger. I'm going to add 2 new chicks this year and it's hard to find a place to buy just one ... Any ideas ??

I have some blue egg layers in the incubator. With any luck, I'll have extras. They won't technically be EEs though, if you're looking for that specific look. :)

Howdy strangers,

I've been MIA from comments, just ghosting. My crazy mixed flock have all been doing great with not much going on to comment on. Okay I did have to chip a 3 yr old Gold laced Wyandotte out of the frozen cow water tub, I guess she thought she was a duck too sad she was wrong :(

As spring and thoughts of chicks dance through my thoughts I would love to hear from anyone with the following hatching eggs: Cream Legbar, Black Copper Maran, Olive egger, Silver Lace & or Columbian Wyandotte. I like diversity yet harmony in my flock, several of my older girls have stopped laying. I am excited that over in my storybook coop my Mottled Cochins have started laying and so far I'm seeing bullseyes. I'm just monitoring not hatching these as they are the first of I hope many to come.

I new development has been that my Dear Hubby has gone from "is that a new chicken" and "you have enough chickens" to "you need to start thinking about what chickens you are going to get in the spring" & I have been reading up and yadda yadda. WOW. So my fine feather fancying friends feel free to fill me in on the above :)

Are they chicks or pullets? Isn't $10 high for chicks? Sorry but I'm still pretty new to doing the seriously.
I have watched and listen to yall for about a month now. And have learned more than in 30 yrs on my own.

Yes, I think $10 for a chick is high, but it's hard to find BCM sometimes. Get this, they are selling CCL females for $30 a chick! Unreal! And, last spring, I was selling them for $4! Won't make that mistake again!
