The Marsh Legbar is filling out nicely. He and the Blue Isbar are trying their hardest to not be friends but they are still getting along for the most part.

she is very sweet, though. In fact, she is likely the most affectionate chicken I've ever encountered. Will NOT let me put her down. I tried to walk away from their enclosure & in 10 seconds(maybe less) she escaped. And tried to follow me back into the house.

I'll be back later after I figure out how to get her to stay put so I can at least put on clean clothes.
 
Had a great time today!!!

Got home to a message about some Bresse chicks.
They have 35 that were hatched to order and not picked up.5 days old.
$2.50 each if I take all 35.

Anyone interested in sharing the order? Supposed to be great mest birds with a marbled flesh. And decent layers of white eggs.

Red comb, white bird, blue legs. Supposed to match the French flag (or ours)
