YO GEORGIANS! :)

I started the fence project today, after finally clearing what I was expected to do for others................and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

I started a contest on FB, so those of you who are FB friends already know this, but I thought a few here might want a shot at it too. So, since I expect this fence project to take me a couple weeks with my physical limitations, I'm letting people guess how many times over the course of this project I will do something to myself that will make me think or say "that's gonna leave a mark"

But the real contest should be how many more times the neighbor cuts through as you are working on it.

28 and how many times did you do that today?

Does anyone have LF Cochin, brahma, Orpington, olive Egger, or Sussex eggs? I have 2 broodies!
I could trade Easter Egger, Ameraucana, SBEL, or Ameraucana X cream crested legbar eggs.
I have a few chicks I could also trade. Oh, and a purebred Ameraucana roo!
I'd be willing to buy eggs if not!

@PapaChaz did you fry all of your eggs you got from the swap?

Who all got eggs that I brought?

where is Carcar, she is missing in action
no I was getting the bator back up just to put those (and another dozen) in there. NO eggs were lost

the first broody mama of the year who is currently sitting on 4 eggs, has 2 that are pipped. I wonder if I I get the chicks out and give her more eggs if she'd stay on them.

on another note, I have run into an issue with room. I have 10 2 week old chicks in my inside brooder who need to go OUT. The welsummers are 11 1/2 weeks old now, and I'm thinking it's time to move them out of the in coop brooder and move these 10 out there. I'm debating on putting the welsummers in with the adults, or move them in with the 15 week old MFDs. I did let them run with the adults for a few hours last week and there weren't any more problems that what I expected. The big thing is they'd be getting layer pellets instead of the grower finisher

where are you located? I have saved up a dozen brown eggs from my australorps that are bred by my AM rooster. The last hatch from these gave me olive eggers. If you'll come get them, you can have them, since my incubator is out I'm not going to hatch them, and I have plenty of eating eggs to sell.
