YO GEORGIANS! :)

The 4 that are yellow and blue all came from the blue eggs and the 2 bluest ones came from eggs marked LA, the others came from brown eggs, waiting on the Maran to do something and another blue egg not marked is piped and a couple of brown eggs light to brown

So far 17 have hatched and 8 more pipping. Won't have pics until tomorrow.

Lady Who came over to watch the hatching. We had a really nice visit! She even helped me do a few chores around the house. Really appreciated it! Thanks, Lady Who!

I'm getting a little nervous about the AM eggs. Have lots in there with no pips yet! I'm hoping they are just late bloomers. Hatch date didn't really start until tonight....so actually, day 21 just began. We will see what we have by tomorrow.

On a sad note, one of the ducks that hatched today, died. It seemed ok and then just started having trouble breathing....gasping for air. You just never know what happens. But, have 7 healthy ones and the last egg is pipping now.

I think tomorrow we are going to let the chickens in the new coop. Other than staining the outside, the few things left to do are hanging the feeders and waterers in the morning. We also need to rearrange the fencing. (Temporary fix for now) We will put in the auto water thingy later and add more run fencing. We also need to build a new duck enclosure so the chickens don't have to deal with all the ducks 'wetness' . DH is just so anxious to get the old coop torn down and clean up that area. Landscaping and cute detail work will be a work in progress.

Did I mention, DH and I had dinner with Rocky Rhodes and his DW last night? They brought me 28 CCL hatching eggs! And Lady Who brought me 6 of her eggs today!. So, along with some of mine, I put 42 more eggs in the bator. After this current hatch is over and the incubator is cleaned, I have another 40 mixed eggs to put in that one! LOL

Needless to say, I haven't been selling many eating eggs at the Farmers Market because I have been hatching them all! I'm so bad!!!
