Yay! We got a reprieve! The goat guy took the goats back for two weeks! That will give us more time to prepare for them! The mamas (goats) were racing across the field when they heard their babies bleating! It was so cute to see the reunion!

Anyone want to come help us build the goat house????

If the pen plan is anything like your chicken coop, you're going to need an entire crew.

We won Rome Braves tickets for tonights game it was so much fun and they won bottom of the 9th scored the winning run!!7-6 with no outs!!!!! And I ate, and ate, and then ate some more!! Had a personal pizza (cheese) free hot dog and small coke, polish dog with onion and peppers and jalapenos, super scoop of choc ice cream in a waffle cone, they were not stingy, large coke, and shared a bucket of shrimp tho bucket is misleading but still a good many oh and one rum bucket!!! Yep I had fun. I ate more than the DH. Oh and won more free food at Sonny's Yeah!!!!

My husband is coming with me to the picnic. :-D I'm going to bring some silkie and showgirl eggs. I might bring some cream legbar eggs, but they've been tricky for me to hatch so far. I got 8 of them going strong in the incubator due this weekend. Hopefully they come out alright.

wonderful looking forward to meeting you both and on the eggs!!!! I'd like some of your cream eggs if possible

This new format is going to take some getting used to. I still can't figure a lot of this stuff out.

Today's boudin-makin' day, and tomorrow I'll smoke and pull the butts and make the slaw. Looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday!

Kat, sorry the poison ivy got you. I immediately hit the shower when I got home and scrubbed extra hard just to make sure I removed all the poison-ivy oil, and Christopher did the same thing, so we didn't get the dreaded rash. Lisa got a patch of it on her arm, so she took benadryl, and that seemed to keep it under control.

Also, would you please post a list of who's bringing what to the BYC picnic, so that folks who want to bring things can see what's still needed? Thanks!
