YO GEORGIANS! :)

Okay, I'm going to bed. I'll check back in the morning.
@Mylied It looks like it's on. I'm smoking the ribs tomorrow, and I'll make some homemade BBQ sauce to go with it. They'll need to be warmed on Saturday. Are you going to BBQ some birds, or do you just want to go with the ribs? I guess we need to start a list of who's coming, who's bringing what, and what is needed. We also need to figure out times. What time you want people to start coming over, and what time the meal will start?

Here's a tentative list and sign up of things we need and who's bringing what:
Smoked Pork Ribs (4-6 racks) - @brucifer
Pulled Pork (1 large pork butt) - @brucifer
Homemade BBQ Sauce - @brucifer
Deviled Eggs (4 doz) - @brucifer
Buns - @brucifer
Tea/Water/Soft Drinks -
Chips/Snacks -
Potato Salad -
Side Dishes -
Paper plates/paper towels/plastic cups and utensils -
Watermelon -
Ice -
Desserts -
Anything else - ???

Also need to know location in Ft. Valley.

So let the host know and what time Sat?
Who all is coming?
I'll bring some kind of side dish, do we need buns?
Okay. I'll try to stay on top of things and make it easy for @Mylied . I know she'll have enough to do just hosting this at the last minute. I'll keep a list of who's coming and who's bringing what. We have to have this in order by the end of the day tomorrow. I'll bring enough buns for the pulled pork.
ok...off the subject, how many times a day should i feed my little scissor beak? I'm separating her and mixing chick starter, water and yogurt, and she is cleaning the bowl.
When mine are young, I let them eat on demand during the day. Others many have a different approach, but that's what I do. Some of my LF are big, but none of them are fat.

ETA: Updated to add a few items I'll be bringing.

i keep feed out all the time, but because of her beak i feed her a mash of chick starter, water and yogurt so she can eat it better...i wanted to know how many times i should feed her that through out the day?

I still don't really understand her condition. Does she have a major chip or break, or does she have a cross-beak alignment issue? As for feed, as I mentioned earlier, my birds eat throughout the day, so that's what I would recommend. Others may have a different perspective.

We have a blind Buff/Austrlorp cross to which Lisa has grown an attachment. I probably would have culled her (the bird) by now, but Lisa has her in a dog grate. The bird is fat and happy, and she know's how to feel around for her feed and water; however, without intervention, she would never be able to survive within the flock. She probably will become a decent layer, but she's Lisa's project case.

:welcome Pull up a chair, and tell us about yourself! We're all friendly here.

I raise mostly various Orpington varieties and French Black Copper Marans. We also raise Silkies and a dabble in a few other breeds such as Crested Cream Legbars. We recently downsized, but we still have 60+ birds. Your turn! :D[/QUOTE]

Wow! 60+ Birds!
I have 7... lol. A mix of different Bantams. One gray Orpington, One orange Orpington, Two I don't know whats yet, and Three of them are white Silkies. I saved them from someone with a backyard flock who had too many to care for. They are still young at 10-12 weeks I think. I am quickly becoming obsessed and if I had more land would for sure have so so many more. I had two that turned out to be Roos, they had to go live with my brother who has more land and keeps many. One was a silver sebright, I cant wait to see if he is able to get some hatchlings from them next year when they are mature.

What time do you want to meet? Doesn't really matter to me. You want to do 10 or 11 or later?

I'll make some potato salad, bbq chicken, and some peach cobbler. I have kids, so I'll have legos and video games. I'd say I have a pool, but I'm new to pools and the water has turned green and I have yet to figure out why. :p And I have some goats they can pet. Husbands/wives are welcome too @sue25 . The more the merrier. I'm at 362 Chestnut Hill Rd.

Also, regarding the sale, turns out a lot of people would have been denied anyway. You need a poultry dealer's license to sell at any public place. And NPIP and AI clean in GA. That includes the flea markets, though I don't know how regulated they are. You only don't need a license for auctions and selling a few from your home. So the more you know. And that's all I'm going to say on that.

I've never had to regulate feed for a bird before, but my suggestion would be as long as she has a bit of something in her crop, then she'll be okay. So maybe 2-3 times for the supplemental feeding.
