YO GEORGIANS! :)

Im going to ask this question again i just got a beagle puppy and shes from a hunting line in trying to figure out how to make sure she doesnt go after mu chickens when shes older ( of course i wouldnt leave them alone togather) but they are rabbit hunting dogs trained to dig
i dont have any experience in this area, but I think a good place to start would be the puppy on a leash and the chicks in a cage, so she doesnt try to play with them. You want her to learn that they arent toys, or prey. Lots of supervised exposure.

Ugh! Just spent the whole afternoon digging and planting a new flower bed (Azaleas, since my chickens have eaten every flower in my yard!). Came in to eat dinner and then looked out my window to admire my flower bed. Ummmmm, what flower bed?!?!?! The chickens have successfully annihilated the whole thing in what, 30 minutes!? 4" of pine straw all over the yard, not one blade of monkey grass to be found! At least the azaleas are still there! OMG, where is the aspirin!?

Wow...forget the aspirin I'd need something a might stronger. I know the feeling only my issue was with two German S and Big Ole English Black Lab.

Say have a newbie question while I'm here. I set up my first incubator (Genesis 1588 w/auto turner). I put a digital reptile thermometer & Hygrometer sensor leads in to double check the digital sensor made in to this unit. I'm not getting the same temp/humidity levels. After an hour the Incubator is 100.2F/65%, the other sensor reads 102.2F/74%. Which should I go by?

I do not have much experience with beagles. I have only ever rescued my dogs, but all have been through obedience classes. That may help you address specific issues or learn to avoid them.

Never had beagles. I have three large dogs: 1 English black lab (90--100lbs) & 2 GH (m&F). The Lab is the only one I can turn my back on in the run, he only wants to sniff and lay down...they jump on top of his back to roost. The Male GH wants to play with them, he is too big for that and the female wants to eat them.

My point is all dogs are different even with in the same breed. I have friend that lost 25 birds when 3 of her dogs that grew up running freely around with her flock went on a blood lust kill.

well surgery has been put on hold again, i went for my preop they did xrays of my lungs an its not looking to good, please pray for my kids n husband to make it through it with me, thank you

I have a few green egg gene chicks for sale....$3. They are about 10 days old. Not sure if male or female. I live near Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville, Ellijay area.

They are the whitish ones to the left of the top photo and the one drinking from the nipple.
