Nice. Well, now you can enjoy the same 2am seranading that I do.
The neighbor way down the street (same one with the guineas that I almost ran over yesterday) has several RIRs. His roosters crow all night long, and apparently mine have decided to "answer" them each time, too. So now most of my roos crow all night long. I'm just thankful they are over 100 feet away from the house!

Oh wow! I'm so glad I do not have that issue. Several of the people on this street have chickens, but they arent close to me. you cant hear their roos unless you are outside and listen really hard.
now dogs on the other hand... I've got plenty of those barking their heads off at night![]()
Did you still want to take that black and white misc. breed bantam roo that I have?So I thought I had a free day today. WRONG. I forgot I told a friend of mine I'd help her cage some of her roos and ducks for the auction tomorrow. Oh, aaaand 2 of my white silkies that were gender ambiguous? Yeah. Both roos. The one with the small crest will be headed to the auction as well.
Ain't no rest for the wicked.

If you sell him tomorrow night, we can call that an even trade for the eggs I'm getting on Sunday?
I second DMRippy's eggs are great. Got some great Super blue egg layers from her eggs!@DMRippy has gorgeous Marans and she said her Isabella (Lavenders) are laying profusely. She ships out of Nashville, so the eggs are in great shape!
